The MTX Receipt Capture Host is a host based solution run entirely by MTXEPS, Inc. This solution collects store receipt information, including the customer's signature, and stores it on MTXEPS hosted servers. These secure servers are available 24 hours a day for retrieval of receipt information. A variety of reporting capabilities provide for easy retrieval of transactions necessary to resolve consumer disputes. Additionally, removal of data sensitive information from the stores eases much of the PCI compliancy challenges.
This service can store receipt information for whole store chains, as well as individual merchants; MTXEPS currently offers storage of receipt information for up to five years.MTX Receipt Capture Host Requirements:
| • | Service contract with MTXEPS, Inc., separate from the basic WinEPS service contract |
| • | An individual store number for each location using the MTX Receipt Host |
| • | WinEPS installation of 817.0 or later, with all requirements for WinEPS installation met |
| • | Internet Connection. MTXEPS uses an internet IP address to connect to the Receipt Host |
| • | Store must have terminals capable of capturing signatures. Terminals capable of acquiring signature capture data: – Hypercom L4100, L4150, L4250 – Hypercom ICE 5500, 6000 – Ingenico EnTouch 1000 – Ingenico i6550, i6780 – NCR 5993 – VeriFone Omni 7000- VeriFone MX 830, 850, 870 |
